January 2005: Cidermill contributes to Oracle sales training
Oracle is the world´s largest enterprise software company. Today, Oracle is helping more governments and businesses around the world become information-driven than any other company. New Oracle sales people must learn about a vast range of database and applications software. But they must also understand the markets in which the software is sold. Cidermill was invited to contribute expertise about the manufacturing industry, an important market for Oracle applications software.

Using material developed for the Cidermill Industry Training curriculum, we coached the sales teams as they prepared a response to a detailed case study. The case study required students to identify business requirements through interviews with key managers in the case study and present a proposal to the board for a major software project.
