Chris Stephenson (Director)

Chris spent the past 12 years at Oracle Corporation in the UK. He was responsible for sales of Oracle software (database and commercial applications) to manufacturers and distributors throughout the UK. He has wide experience of dealing at board level with companies of all sizes.

Originally Chris was an electronics engineer with Digital Equipment, where he was responsible for designing graphics controllers. From Digital he went on to manage the UK subsidiary of a New Zealand company, before joining Oracle in 1992.

Chris combines a thorough understanding of UK business, in particular the sales process, with hands-on experience of running a company.

Bob Grindley (Director)

Bob was a founder director of e-InBusiness Ltd, a builder of internet-based online sales web sites. The company delivered successful projects for a long list of high street retailers.

Having trained as a mechanical engineer his early career was spent managing software development at Digital Equipment. Bob later joined Digital's UK marketing team, and spent 5 years in Germany as a European industry marketing manager.

After leaving Digital he spent several years at IT distributor Metrologie. He was responsible for building the Compaq distribution business to £50M pa before taking over responsibility for all product marketing at Metrologie. He left to form e-InBusiness in 1999.

Bob's experience provides Cidermill with an invaluable combination of business management and technical understanding.

Lavinia Stephenson (Company Secretary)

Lavinia is a qualified teacher and lecturer in Microsoft Office Automation applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access). She works in both classroom environments and with individual client companies.

Lavinia brings to Cidermill Consulting and its clients extensive adminstrative skills and experience.
